WoW Forever DPS Tier List
Every World of Warcraft: Forever spec the wowsims Forever engine can sim, ranked by the DPS of its launch build on the engine's preset gear. Warrior (Arms / Fury) leads at 1,099 DPS on a two minute single target fight. Simulated, not logged: Forever has no parses yet, and the fork is still verifying talent values against the beta that opened 17 September 2026. Treat the bands as the finding and the exact order within a band as noise.

Methodology
What is ranked
Each spec's trinket board starts from a baseline: the wowsims Forever UI's preset build for the spec at level 60 with both trinket slots empty. That baseline DPS is the number here, so the tier list and the boards always agree and refresh together.
Same fight for all
The engine's default encounter: one level 60 target, two minutes with fifteen seconds of variation, no movement, no adds. Full raid buffs, debuffs and consumables as the spec page applies them. No world buffs, which do not work in Forever raids.
Bands
Measured against the median spec, not the top one: S is 20% or more above the median, A above it, B within 15% below, C further. The bar shows share of the top spec. Bands are wide on purpose so a few percent of engine drift does not reorder the list.

What is the best DPS spec in WoW Forever?
Warrior (Arms / Fury) tops the simulated launch-build ranking at 1,099 DPS, followed by Hunter and Fire Mage. The S band (20% or more above the median spec) is Warrior (Arms / Fury), Hunter. The order within a band is inside the sim's margin while talent values are still being verified.
Is this tier list based on logs or sims?
Sims. Forever has no combat logs yet, so every spec is run through the open-source wowsims Forever{" "}engine on its launch build. The retail Mythic+ tier list on this site ranks real parses; Forever switches to the same once logs exist.
Why is my spec lower than the class Discord says?
Each spec runs the engine's preset build and gear, not the best possible build, and several Forever talents still carry demo tooltip values. A spec whose preset lags its real best build reads low. Paste your own character into the Forever Quick Sim for a number on your talents and gear.
How often does the ranking change?
On every wowsims Forever{" "}engine build MythicSim ships, which is often during the beta. The engine build and sim date are printed on the page so you can tell which numbers you are looking at.
Where are healers?
Not ranked. The engine's healer sims are not surfaced yet. Tanks are listed separately, ranked by the damage their build does on the same fight, which says nothing about threat or survivability.
